How to make your own Christmas wreath

How to make your own Christmas wreath

There's nothing that finishes your Christmas decor off better than a beautiful wreath hanging on the front door.

We asked the brilliant Clair from Seaholly Floral Design, Central Coast, NSW for her top tips for creating your very own Christmas wreath and this is what she had to say...
  1. Start by using your greenery, such as leafs and pine as a base.
  2. Then begin making a little flat-backed bouquet with colours to suit your theme. Combining lots of different textures is always a winner! Tie on.
  3. Repeat this until you have enough bouquets to cover your wreath, and then layer your mini bouquets to cover your tie point.
  4. End with a large focal flower, ribbon or even decoration, whatever you love!
  5. Book a wreath workshop with your local florist for a step-by-step tutorial and some festive fun.

Joy Homewares still have spots left for our wreath workshop with Clair on Tuesday 15 December - book now to secure a place!
